Owner’s Bio

My journey in healthcare began around 15 years ago in New York City, where I started gathering insight into the various areas concerning the medical field. After moving to Jacksonville, Florida, and formally engaging in medical care, I developed the passion and experience to help families efficiently care for their loved ones.

Perhaps, the most enlightening lesson I garnered throughout my involvement in the practices is that the best teachers for compassion and caring are our life experiences. Having a work history as an in-home care provider has bestowed me with valuable experiences in the proper discipline of caregiving.

Having additional experience in rehabilitation, finances, and insurance has helped me better understand the insurance side of healthcare— particularly with Health Maintenance Organizations (HMOs). I’ve worked closely with patients and their families to create accounts, add funds for their coverage, and ensure that the insurance covers the patient’s stay. Providing a stress-free process for both the patient and their loved ones has been my number one goal.

Throughout my work life, I’ve learned that having excellent interpersonal skills can help you work well with diverse groups of people. These people include nurses, doctors, staff members, and patients (including their respective families). When the Covid-19 pandemic first began, I got deployed to the emergency department at Mayo Clinic. Being on the front line has shown me all of the challenges we face in healthcare.
